BVEYard Roadmap | September 4, 2022

September is here, and school for many who play our NYC Subway routes will return soon. Before everyone drowns themselves in tons upon tons of schoolwork, let’s look at the first September Roadmap for BVEYard.

What we have to say:

Upcoming

  • 1970/80s 42nd St Shuttle

While we are busy working on some of our projects like the R46, we still want all of you to enjoy quality content. Because of this, we plan to release the 1970/80s 42nd St Shuttle, created by NYCTA & RATP Virtual.

In Development

  • Updated R32/38 Pack

While an R32/38 Pack created by NYCTA & RATP Virtual (formerly 1960-1970s Lover) was released a few months ago, there were many inaccuracies with it. This new pack will see the R32s and R38s originally included in that pack updated with new sounds, physics, and more!

  • Pre-GOH R32/38 Pack

This has been an ongoing project of ours for a while. There aren’t many Pre-GOH trains available for OpenBVE, and we wanted to change that with this pack, so, we took some of the highest quality trains available for OpenBVE - the R32/38s - and modified them to represent their Pre-GOH counterparts.

  • IRT/BMT Redbird Pack

The Redbirds which were released for OpenBVE weren’t really released to the best quality possible, so we wanted to change that. Simple as that.

  • R44/46

We know we’ve been working on the R46 for a long time now, and unfortunately, we have little news on it at this moment. However, we can say that development is coming along nicely with it, and we plan to have it out as soon as possible and to the highest quality possible. In addition to this, we’ve also added the R44 to the roadmap. We’re making an R46, so why not the R44 as well?

  • Updated R143/160 Pack

We know that the R143/160 weren’t released to the highest quality possible, and we want to rectify that, so we are returning to those trains so they don’t look half-assed.

  • R179

The R179s, the current newest trains in the subway system, isn’t accurately represented in OpenBVE, and we want to change that. Our R179 will have an accurate body, sounds, physics, and more, and we plan to make it one of the most detailed B Division NTTs available.

  • R211A/T/S

We know there’s been a lot of talk about these trains in the system over the past year, and all of you are probably tired of the R211 by now, but hey… it wouldn’t be smart to not create a version of the train for OpenBVE. As the different variants of this train enter service, we’re going to create them in OpenBVE.

  • NYCT (6) Line

The (6) Line. One of the two IRT Lines which run local in Manhattan, and also one of the most frequent. This fan-favorite line is finally being recreated in OpenBVE with accurate scenery, station details, and more. We even have a little surprise to come with it upon release…

Keep an eye on our discord server and this website for more updates on the content we have planned for the future.
