Enter the Brightliners!

In early 2022, the R32s were officially retired and laid to rest, leading to a reduction in the variety of subway cars that are now visible on a daily basis in the New York City Subway System. During the same year as the R32s' retirement from revenue service, a Post-GOH pack was released for both the R32 and R38 trains. Although the pack was well-received, it was apparent that certain aspects of the trains were lacking, such as sound quality, texture detail, and physics. As a result, the team at BVEYard decided to enhance the R32 Pack.

Introducing the enhanced R32/38 Post-GOH Pack, now featuring all-new textures, sounds, and realistic physics to allow you to fully experience the capabilities of these trains. Delight in the piercing screech of the brake shoes as you slide into a station, the haunting howl of a train that has been neglected for months, or the smooth operation of a recently overhauled R32 that feels as good as new. This pack will bring new life to these beloved SMEE’s, allowing you to reimmerse yourself in them.

Do you relish the experience of operating from the cab? Our updated pack features all-new textures that will immerse you in the cramped half-cab environment. We've also added a few surprises to the cab that you can discover as you operate the train.

But even if you prefer operating from the passenger compartment, we've incorporated a darker interior to replicate the somber atmosphere that the R32s had during their time in service.

Although we do not have a release date for this pack at this time, we intend to launch it alongside the BVEYard (Q) Line, which we plan to provide a comprehensive article about soon. In the meantime, we will keep you informed about our progress with the R32/38s, including sharing photos and possibly videos on our Discord server. You may even have the chance to watch one of us streaming the train during a run.
